Trackabout is back !!!

Hi everyone, let us introduce ourselves. We, Rob & Kym Adams and are the lucky new owners of Trackabout Off Road Campers. Over the last 8 years we have been directly involved with Trackabout having owned a hire fleet of Trackabout campers which are all still going strong today. Over the years these campers have clocked up well over 600 000 km's and have been to all four corners of our mighty country, continuing to stand the test of time over and over again!

We have worked closely with John over the years and with our knowledge in the hire industry have helped help him create  a "no nonsense camper" which has well and truly stood up to the harsh Australian terrain.
When Trackabout came on the market, we "just had to have it", so a few phone calls, a couple of sleepless nights later and here we are today. We spoke about what we could change to make it better or more price competitive and the answer we kept coming up with was,"NOTHING".Trackabout is not about cost cutting, cutting corners, chinese tents, or using inferior products to meet a price!!! Trackabout stands for reliability, ease of usage, cutting edge designs, and a great resale value come the day you decide to sell. So having said that, nothing will change apart from starting production of the Kakadu, a great value entry level camper with provision to option up at a later stage.

We made contact with John the other day to discuss the future of Trackabout. The big fella was quite excited that Kym and myself are taking over and has offered to help out (as long as the beer fridge is stocked) and make sure everything is the way it should be..... in a nutshell Trackabout will be exactly the same.

The doors are now open after a minor refurbishment, if we painted over your message, sorry, but we also covered over our own from many years ago. We've replaced the message wall with a testomonial book which will be more permanent so drop in, say hi and add an entry.
